Citizens With Disabilities – Ontario (CWDO) is committed to the rights of all persons to participate fully in the civil, cultural, economic, political and social life of their communities.

Technology Resource (TEC) Committee Members

Current Members

 We are always interested in expanding our membership on TEC with people who have an interest in:

 

  • monitoring news lists for development of new technology;
  • monitoring scientific or professional journals for research into innovative ideas that could use technology to remove barriers faced by persons with disabilities;
  • writing position papers and submissions to government inquiries or hearings that may assist in removing barriers faced by persons with disabilities;
  •  assisting in expanding or enhancing the CWDO website;
  • assisting other CWDO committee chairpersons in keeping their committee pages on the website current and active; and
  • assisting in database development and maintenance for CWDO committees whose activities require specialized data collection, for example, Creative Arts Committee who have as one of their activities to mentor persons with disabilities in the various fields of the Arts.

If you are interested in any of the above activities, we encourage you to contact the chairperson of the TEC: Terrance Green and tell him of your interest and ask to be included on the meeting notice of the next TEC meeting.
