Citizens
With Disabilities - Ontario (CWDO) actively promotes
the rights, freedoms and responsibilities of persons with
disabilities through community development, social action, and
member support and referral. Our primary activity is
public education and awareness about the social and physical
barriers that prevent the full inclusion of persons with
disabilities in Ontario.
CWDO is proud to be Ontario's
representative at the Council of Canadians with Disabilities
since June, 2009.

Copyright Consultation
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dear CWDO Members, As many of you will know, the Federal government is
currently conducting a series of consultations both in person
and online about modernizing copyright law in Canada.
The Citizens with Disabilities - Ontario Creative Arts and
Recreation Committee is hoping to submit an online
response to this consultation.
We are looking for a
volunteer to host a web discussion about copyright with
particular attention to disability issues through our IDEAL
Conferencing system. The host would compose a rough draft of a
response (it can even be point form) on behalf of CWDO. The
Creative Arts and Recreation Committee and CWDO Board will
edit and revise this material for the final submission.
For more information about these
consultations please visit: http://copyright.econsultation.ca/ If
interested, please send an email to membership@cwdo.org with "Copyright
e-consultation" in the subject line.
and Recreation Committee
