Notice of 2009 AGM and Elections

All CWDO members are cordially invited to attend our 3rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 11, 2009, starting at 7:00 pm EDT.

Meeting Overview

Our Annual General Meeting gives members a chance to learn about what CWDO has accomplished over the year, and to participate in elections and other matters that define the organization.

2008 Finance Report
Proposed CWDO Vision and Mission Statements
A Motion to establish membership fees

Elections

At the AGM, the Nominating Committee will propose a slate (list) of Directors representing various provincial ridings throughout Ontario, a cross-disability perspective, and diversity from within its membership. For 2009-10, Directors will be appointed to fill vacancies. A minimum of seven (7) three-year-terms will be filled this year.

Nominations

Members may nominate individuals to the board of CWDO. Self-nominations are also most welcome.

We hold our meetings on-line, using the IDEAL conferencing system. Participants can talk on line (headset required) or type their comments.

If you require an Interpreter or Captioner to participate online, please contact us as soon as possible so we can arrange for this accommodation.
