Welcome to the Aging with a Disability & Education Committee!  We are working on raising awareness about disability, aging and education.   



Could Ontario be next??  Following recent cuts to financial assistance in B.C., the Government of Alberta is now cutting funding to programs that support disability services, most specifically exam accommodations. Access to Literacy

This 2002 Discussion Paper concerning Access to Literacy for Students who are Blind or Visually Impaired was recently circulate by John Rae.  It's a scholarly paper with a comprehensive bibliography that will be of interest to consumers and academics alike.

Our Committees always welcome new members who share CWDOs mission and values.  We meet as needed, using the IDEAL Conference system.
